Garry and I decided to ride the dirt road to the top of Mt. Lemon.

The road begins out of the town of Oracle and the first few miles of the 25 mile trail goes through quite a bit of ranch land.

This was only the second time we have ridden together. Yesterday was the first.

We are like the story of the tortoise and the hare......he keeps passing me!

He is a very steady rider and kept the shiny side up the whole ride......unlike someone else in the group.

A lot of drainage along the route, some even had a little water in them.

There he is blowing past me again!!!

It's beautiful country back here....

..........nothing at all like the front side of the mountain.

We're taking those switch backs all the way to the top.

His Super Tenere is a very nice bike!

It even handled the rocky parts.

I tried to take a picture of that fence post but guess who had to photo bomb my shot!

Yes, Sherm, it's very healthy

Not so much. :)

Riding up the north face we encountered several section with snow and ice. Not being too adventurous, I didn't stop to take pics there. Here I could keep solid footing.

There are a lot of rock formations, hoodoos etc. riding down the front side on the paved road.

These next few pics are from Garry's camera.

He was capturing a very skilled rider!

Yes, very skilled!!!

That's All Folks. (At least for this ride)
